The ceremony was held on Monday, March 16, in Pisa to reward those traditional craftsmen who boast a high degree of professionalism. Among the 11 awarded the certificate “Master Craftsman”, issued by the Chamber of Commerce of Pisa, three are the Volterra. Donato Luciano Repole, Paolo Simoncini and Marco Migliorini are the three Volterrani who received the recognition from the Chamber of Commerce.

“A training system based on teaching in workshops not only makes it possible to enhance and protect the cultural and productive heritage that artistic handicrafts represent, but it is also an important opportunity for young people to learn a trade and enter the world of work – said the regional councillor for productive activities Gianfranco Simoncini present at the ceremony – which is why I am happy to deliver the diplomas of master craftsman to those who, with expert hands, will be able to pass on the know-how fruit of a culture and traditions that have helped to spread the Tuscan quality in the world”.
